Rather than adding a universal pod over the original trim, this full-size Silverado A-pillar gauge pod replaces the factory trim and creates a clean mounting location for gauges. The color-matched finish is developed to closely replicate the original factory tan, helping the pod blend naturally with the surrounding dashboard and interior trim. A black option is also available for those who prefer a contrasting gauge pod installation.
TRUCK-SPECIFIC PILLAR PODS FOR 6.6L DURAMAX LML & L5P
MaxTow Silverado gauge pods are developed around the dimensions and contours of the 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado A-pillar. The full-length design extends from the upper portion of the pillar down toward the dashboard and replaces the factory A-Pillar for a secure, integrated installation. These Chevy Silverado gauge pods are engineered for 1500, 2500HD and 3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax LML or L5P engine, also fitting Sierra trucks in this year range. Each pod is measured, molded and tested for the designated application to help achieve the precise fit expected from a vehicle-specific gauge pod. Do MaxTow 14-19 Chevy Silverado Pillar Gauge Pods Interfere with factory trim or visibility?
These Silverado Gauge Pods replace the factory A-pillar which is fully removed. We recommend storing the factory trim in a safe location so it will remain preserved and undamaged. There are also no issues with visibility when MaxTow’s replacement pod is installed—it will seamlessly replace the stock A-pillar without any obstructions so you can install Double Vision™ Gauges and monitor readings.
Can 2014-2019 Silverado Gauge Pods at MaxTow be painted to match custom interiors?
Yes. We have (2) Triple Gauge Silverado Pillar Pods available. The first has a factory color matched Tan finish; the other is featured in OEM Black. Both can be painted with ABS plastic paint if needed to achieve a custom look that matches your Chevy truck’s interior.
How are MaxTow 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado Pillar Pods secured—by using clips, screws, or adhesive?
14-19 Chevy Silverado Pillar Pods at MaxTow are easily installed using the supplied mounting bolt which screws into the A-pillar support. There is already a pre-drilled hole on the Silverado Gauge Pod to thread in the mounting bolt, saving time on installation.
