The included bolt installs through the predrilled hole on the pod and threads into the truck’s support. In fact, that is all you will need for installation. The bolt ensures a secure mount to the stock A-pillar, while simplifying the install process. We also recommend storing the factory A-pillar in a dry location for safe storage and safe keeping.
