WHAT TRUCKS BENEFIT FROM A COOLANT PRESSURE GAUGE?
Having a Coolant Pressure Gauge gives you the advanced warning you need if your truck is experiencing a coolant pressure leak or any other issues related to your coolant system. Stop the problem at the source before you start overheating, and avoid malfunctions that could cause significant damage such as a blown head gasket. That’s why this gauge is especially beneficial for drivers that demand a lot out of their truck. If you’re doing a lot of driving, towing heavy cargo over long distances, or if your truck is involved in racing applications, then this gauge is for you.
HOW DO I INSTALL MY COOLANT PSI GAUGE?
The process starts with the installation of the included 1/8-27 NPT Electronic Coolant Pressure Sensor. With a few simple steps the sensor can be installed to take accurate readings on this analog and digital coolant pressure gauge. Find the location on your truck’s coolant system where you want to install the sensor. Some aftermarket radiators may have a port available, but if an adapter is required we do offer several types of adapters separately. You have the option of installing the gauge in your truck’s cabin with one of the many styles of gauge pod we have in stock. Once the gauge is connected to the sensor and powered through the respective Sensor and Power Harnesses that are included, your gauge will be ready for use.
