Transmission Temperature Gauges
The MaxTow Double Vision Transmission Temperature Gauge is an electronically driven high performance truck gauge that reads and displays your truck’s automatic transmission temperature from 80-260 degrees Fahrenheit with pinpoint accuracy. Experience dual readouts with both analog and digital displays that feature ultra-bright LEDs in several solid color options. The illuminated red needle sweeps 270° and is driven by stepper motor technology to create an extremely smooth needle movement. Plus choose from several different styles designed to enhance the look of your gas or diesel truck. Get ready to hit the road and Tow to the Max®!

WHY DO I NEED A TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE GAUGE?
One of the major factors in reducing the life of a truck’s transmission is overheating, and one of the main reasons the automatic transmission temperature overheats is because of outdated transmission fluid. Older transmission fluid will be less effective at performing its primary functions, one of the most important of which is keeping the system cool. The typical range for normal transmission temperature range is between 175° and 225°, and keeping within that average range is extremely important. This is where truck transmission oil gauges come into play, which work by monitoring and measuring your truck's transmission fluid temperature. By having a trans temp gauge, you’ll be kept one step ahead of any possible issues involving overheating that could potentially seize your transmission.
AFTERMARKET TEMP GAUGE KIT SENSOR
MaxTow’s transmission temperature diesel gauge includes a 1/8th NPT transmission temperature sensor that easily installs to your transmissions test port or transmission pan. The aftermarket temperature gauge sensor features new and improved waterproof connectors, which have been designed to create an even stronger link between your transmission fluid temperature sensor and transmission oil gauge. These upgraded connectors also offer true plug-and-play connectivity, making the trans oil temp gauge sensor installation process easy. Your transmission temperature sensor will not only continue to provide readings with pinpoint accuracy, but will also be around as long as your truck and will work effectively as part of your transmission temperature gauge kit.
WHAT SHOULD YOUR TRANSMISSION RUNNING TEMP BE?
The normal transmission temperature range for the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) temperature of your truck is in the area of 170° and 225° Fahrenheit should be about the maximum transmission temperature. ATF temperature gauges will alert you to any spikes so you can immediately trouble-shoot before you experience any critical damage to your truck's engine. Trucks that benefit from a transmission oil temp gauge include pickups running long distances, towing heavy cargo, and racing applications. Achieve a safe transmission oil temp and extend the life of your engine with a MaxTow Double Vision™ Transmission Running Temp Gauge.
