GMC C/K FULL SIZE TRUCKS
The Fourth Generation Chevy C/K brought with it the development of the GMC Sierra C/K Full Size Truck, 1500, 2500 and 3500. Design changes that came about during this time included the first extended cab, the addition of independent front suspension, a reinforced and more durable body constructed of galvanized steel, and a 6.5 liter diesel V8 with a turbocharger. The dash was also enhanced, with modifications made to the positioning of the radio and stock gauge cluster. Later mods included passenger side airbags, anti-theft systems, and a steering wheel that was upgraded with an advanced driver airbag.
